Celebrating Success: Our colleague Renaud Herman, Belgium Rally Champion
We are thrilled to share a significant achievement by our esteemed colleague, and Sales Manager of our Belgian Branch, Renaud Herman, who climbed the podium together with his teammate Maxime Potty as champions of the Belgium Rally Championship. It all happened las Sunday, November 26th, 2023, in the famous city of Spa, which is also Renaud’s hometown, and is just few kilometers away from Pepinster, where the Metaltex Branch headquarters is located.
Maxime and Renaud, driving a Citroën C3 Rally2, defied expectations, starting the season in February ranked 5th in Belgium. Their remarkable journey saw them win four out of eight events, securing the championship in a nail-biting final race, comprising 16 stages, and taking place over two consecutive days.
Nonetheless important, Maxime (pilot), who just turned 24 on the Victory Day, together with Renaud (co-pilot) who is just 28, became the youngest rally team, worldwide, to win a championship, adding an extraordinary touch to this achievement.
