A new ambulance has been delivered to the Confraternita di Misericordia in Montegiorgio (Marche region – Italy).
The vehicle has been donated by Metaltex in memory of the founder of the Group, Egidio Morandi, who passed away on October 28th, 1991.

On May 9th, 2003, in the presence of the Volunteer Group’s President Mr. Paolo Tartufoli, Metaltex-Italia‘s President Mr. Ivano Morandi delivered the new ambulance, which carries a plate in the memory of Egidio Morandi.

Metaltex’s founder opened the first factory of the Group in Montegiorgio in 1960. Since then the ties with Montegiorgio have developed strongly with Mr. Egidio Morandi being made a Honorary Citizen in 1964. Following the sad loss of Mr. Morandi in 1991 the town re-named the street in his name where our factory is located.
