The 63rd Ordinary General Assembly of the Associazione Industrie Ticinesi (AITI) was held at the Palazzo dei Congressi, a key annual event for the cantonal industrial sector.

During the event, new statutory appointments for the 2025–2029 term were announced. Members unanimously elected Nicoletta Casanova—CEO, President, and co-founder of FEMTOprint SA—as the new President of the Association. Her entrepreneurial experience and strong commitment to innovation are recognized as key elements in addressing the sector’s future challenges. Metaltex extends its congratulations to Nicoletta Casanova and wishes her a successful term.

On this occasion, Metaltex SA was honored for its 80 years of activity. Marco Morandi, Marketing Manager and member of the founding family, took the stage to receive the commemorative plaque from the outgoing AITI President, Oliviero Pesenti, and State Councillor Christian Vitta (DFE). This moment highlighted the importance of business continuity and Metaltex’s deep roots in the Ticino industrial landscape.

The evening concluded with an Apéro riche, providing an informal opportunity for networking among companies, institutions, and stakeholders in the region.
