The 1° prize of the Prix Bartholdi 2008 to Nicolas Staedel.
Nicolas Staedel of the Centre MIM Strasbourg, son of Raymonde and Roland Staedel of Metaltex France, won the Prix Bartholdi 2008, a 3-Countries contest that rewards the best report for an internship that took place abroad.
Every year this contest sees the competition between the best students of the High Rhine area, comprising the regions of Alsace (France), Baden-Württemberg (Germany) and northwest Switzerland.
The first prize was awarded on November 8th at the European Parliamentary of Strasbourg, in the presence of the German Federal Minister of the Interior Mr. Wolfgang Schäuble.
Nicolas Staedel submitted a report regarding his internship at Metaltex Pacific Ltd in Hong Kong.
The second price went to Alexandra Kaiser of the Hochschule of Karlsruhe, for the report about his training at Volkswagen in South Africa.
The third prize was delivered to Michael Schüpbach of the Fachhochschule Nordwestschweiz of Basel, for the report on his internship at Roche Ltd in Shanghai.
Our warmest congratulations to Nicolas, his mother Raymonde and father Roland (Commercial Director of Metaltex France) must be very proud.
