METALTEX co sponsor for the ''RC 44 Lugano Yacht Club Cup 2007'', with Russel Coutts and Paul Cayard.

From 20 to 24th June the Lugano Yacht Club organised and hosted a leg of the RC44 Class championship, featuring the sailing boats designed by Russel Coutts.
The title was contested by team Omega with Russel Coutts, team Mascalzone Latino with Paul Cayard and ship-owner Vincenzo Onorato, team Aqua with Cameron Appleton and team Lightbay Magia with Armando Giulietti. Team Omega won in front of team Mascalzone Latino.

Congratulations to the organiser Franco Rossini, President of the Lugano Yacht Club and owner of the Blu Moon, the sailing boat sponsored by Metaltex and 2002 world champion for the Melges 24 Class in Key West, with Flavio Favini e Tiziano Nava.
