On August 3rd 2004 we were proud to host a visit by Liverpool, the major department store group of Mexico. Their delegation, from all provinces of Mexico, totalled some 76 personnel comprising departmental and sales managers from their Home, Cleaning and Plastic Items departments.

The day started with a tour of Metaltex Mexico based in Apodaca. During the visit the guests were shown the full operational capability of Metaltex Mexico demonstrating all aspects of our logistic systems.

The delegation then transferred to a local mountain estate typical of the area to receive a presentation about the Metaltex group, it’s past, present and future. In order for the delegates to understand our philosophy & core principles a detailed video presentation was given highlighting our product development process – from new product design, projects in progress, production to the finished new item.

The delegates were then shown the comprehensive range of Metaltex products available today, a range from which Liverpool selected a further 58 products to increase their listing to 288 Metaltex products!

Our guests then enjoyed a hearty lunch of North Mexican food before ending a superb day with a visit to the ancient district of the area.
